No problem at all! My apologies about that sentence that got cut off in the middle, I didn't even notice it before. Please let me know if there is any additional information you would like me to send your way, if what I've put here isn't quite enough. What follows are the additional changes to my earlier application:
Sentence that got cut off: Evan died as an act of self sacrifice. He thought that by dying, the vampire who killed him would be satisfied and might perhaps leave Matthew (who was elsewhere at the time) alone. Having exhausted all his options and resources in the campaign to stop and/or defeat this rival vampire, he didn't see many more options. Little did he know, after his death the vampire tracked Matthew down anyway and nearly killed him, before Evan's brother Elliot was alerted by the activation of his earring-spell (which came to life as Evan died) and swooped in to the rescue. He was almost too late. Matthew nearly died, again. This would devastate Evan if he knew that his own death did almost nothing to stop the rival vampire from going after his lover.
(Positive personality aspects): Evan may appear to have a bit of a devil-may-care attitude on the surface, but when push comes to shove he usually does the morally 'right' thing. However, he's not afraid of stretching morality for his own gain in extenuating circumstances. This can entail everything from willfully injuring others to prevent damage to himself or those he cares about, to killing someone who's between him and something (or someone) he really needs to get to. Evan is happiest when managing something, whether that be a group of people or a complicated event. He likes the feeling of being in control and directing disparate pieces of a puzzle into place to make a larger, more complex whole. He is 100% an extrovert and likes the noise and bustle of a large group of people. He doesn't do well when he's alone for long periods of time; his ever-present sense of loneliness from isolating himself emotionally over the years from his brother and anyone seeking to become close to him really hits home at those times. The outgoing aspects of his personality come to light in his interactions with others. If he wants you to like him, you're probably going to end up liking him. He's pretty charismatic and is good at reading others' emotions so that he can gauge social situations and use them to his advantage. He is not manipulative, however, not unless he is on a hunt. Evan also has a pretty light-hearted sense of humor. He tends to laugh at stress rather than letting it make him angry or upset--as stated before, it is difficult to get on his bad side, and largely because of this point. He cracks jokes in tense situations, but he is self-aware enough to know when a more sober attitude is necessary.
